In November, we reflected on 2024's challenges and shared plans to tackle them. This month, we focus on 2025, sharing actionable resolutions to improve our services and deliver waterproofing excellence.

With the new year upon us, here are our key resolutions for 2025—designed to enhance our services, streamline operations, and continue setting the standard for waterproofing excellence:
1. You will hear from us more.
In addition to our written newsletter, we will share a monthly video update focused on roofing and waterproofing products and services. The video will be published on our YouTube channel and shared on LinkedIn.
2. We will do more of what we like and less of what we don't like...
While this might sound broad, we’ve taken steps to limit, outsource, and eliminate tasks unrelated to roofing and waterproofing.
I enjoy being a tradesman, not a businessman, which is why we’re partnering with others who are happy to lighten my workload, allowing me to focus on what I love.

3. Launch of Leakfix Two© and Leakfix Five© - 2 & 5 Step Leak Resolution System
This has been a work in progress, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Over the last 2 years I have been actively resolving water ingress problems and while doing so I’ve learned what works and what doesn't work, after a few trials and errors, we are ready to Launch a new system. Stay tuned for this launch in March 2025.
4. We will actively seek out innovative roofing and waterproofing products that address the problems we encounter daily.

Product Highlight: DVAKO PI DN 110
While exploring waterproofing innovations on LinkedIn, I came across Jan Dvořák, a passionate expert creating unique seals for pipe penetrations in pre-applied membranes. Intrigued by his work, I reached out to request a sample—and here’s my firsthand feedback!

1. What is 2KO?
The 2KO penetration seal ensures a reliable, watertight passage for waste pipes through waterproofing layers. It eliminates the need for manual sealing and integrates seamlessly with various waterproofing materials using standard installation methods.

2. Key Features of 2KO
2KO is a proprietary sealing product designed for use with a variety of below-ground waterproofing systems. It features a composite clamp that forms a watertight seal between the membrane and the clamp. This system accommodates pipes of various types and diameters, which are securely sealed using a rubber gasket fitted onto the composite clamp. It can also be incorporated into and tested with any type of membrane, ask Jan Dvořák about details.
3. Tested solution.
The 2KO system has undergone multiple tests to assess its functionality and compatibility with various waterproofing systems. It has been evaluated for key parameters, including watertightness, pressure resistance, and integration with different materials.
4. Material Durability.
The use of polyamide and stainless steel ensures resistance to environmental factors and long-term durability under standard conditions.
5. Conclusion.
The DVAKO PI DN 110 is a well-designed solution for creating watertight pipe penetrations in waterproofing systems. With its composite clamp and rubber gasket, it works seamlessly with a variety of waterproofing materials. It has been tested for pressure resistance and durability, making it a reliable choice for demanding environments.
